I stayed at this hotel recently and found it to be a mixed experience. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the location wasn't the best since it was a bit off the main street. The rooms were just okay, with a bit of an odor that improved after I requested deodorizer. Overall, it’s decent considering the price, but there’s definitely room for improvement in several areas.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were a bit confusing due to separate setups for ladies, and although I requested a non-smoking option, they asked for a money top up. The room initially had a smoking smell, but it got better after I asked for some deodorizer.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and very accommodating, always ready to help with questions about meals. However, it seemed like there wasn't enough staff available to meet all the guest demands, which affected the availability of amenities like shuttle service.
Location
6.0
While the hotel is conveniently close to the center area, the path is on a slope which can be a bit of a hassle. It's about a 15-minute walk to major attractions, so it's manageable but not ideal if you prefer being right in the action.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were nice, using local ingredients. However, some amenities, like shuttle service to dinner options, were limited to certain times.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were okay, though I noticed there were limited amenities given the small staff. The place had a cozy atmosphere but lacked some modern conveniences I expected.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were a bit dated, and we had to head to the onsen for hot showers, which was inconvenient. The location wasn't ideal, being a bit of a walk from the main attractions, but overall it was decent value for money.

Rooms
6.0
The room was old and didn't have hot water, so we frequently had to go to the onsen for showers. It was clean and odor-free, but I really wished for a non-smoking option.
Service
7.0
Some staff seemed overwhelmed and had trouble checking us in, but once we got that sorted, they were really helpful with any questions I had about meals.
Location

The hotel is about a 15-minute walk to the main attractions, which isn't the best. It's situated on a slope away from the main street, making it a bit inconvenient to get to places.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast options were decent, but we had to manage our own transport to get to dining locations, which was a bit of a hassle.
Facilities
5.0
The amenities were limited, which I think was due to the staff shortage. It would have been nice to have more options available.

6.0/10

The hotel has a great location, being close to the center and various attractions, but it does have its downsides. The rooms, while clean, had issues with cigarette smoke and lack of hot water, which made bathing inconvenient. The service felt a bit indifferent at times, but the breakfast options were decent. Overall, it's a decent stay for the price, despite a few shortcomings.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and tidy, but they had a faint smell of cigarette smoke and lacked hot water for showers, which forced us to go to the onsen each time.
Service
5.0
The service was somewhat indifferent, especially towards younger local adults, but they were helpful when I inquired about meals.
Location

The hotel is very close to the center area, making it convenient to walk to main attractions, although the slope location was a bit challenging.
Dining

The breakfast was pretty good and featured local ingredients, which added a nice touch to our meals.

The facilities were limited, as they were on a skeleton crew, and some amenities like shuttle services weren't available throughout the day.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is really convenient, just a short walk to the main attractions, but I found the rooms a bit disappointing with a stale cigarette smell and outdated amenities. The service was friendly at times, though they seemed indifferent to some guests. On the plus side, the dining options were nice, and I appreciated the staff's assistance with transportation to nearby areas.

Rooms

The rooms definitely felt old and had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Plus, we had to go to the onsen every time we wanted a hot shower, which was inconvenient.

I was pleased with the location as it was close to the center area and only about a 15-minute walk to the main attractions, making it convenient for exploring.
Dining

Dining at the hotel was pleasant and the staff was nice. However, it's worth noting that it was a bit far from Yubatake, which could be inconvenient for some.

6.6/10

The hotel is conveniently located close to the center area, making it an easy walk to main attractions. While the rooms were somewhat outdated and lacked hot water, they were still okay after I requested a deodorizer for the non-smoking option. The service was quite friendly overall, particularly during breakfast. However, the dining could use more variety, and the lack of hot water was frustrating.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms felt a bit old and there was no hot water, which meant I had to head down to the onsen for showers. After requesting a deodorizer, the room felt somewhat better, at least. It was a ladies-only non-smoking room, but the management's confusion made it a bit tricky to understand.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I had questions about breakfast and dinner. However, I did notice some indifference towards younger local guests.
Location

The hotel is very close to the center area, but it's on a slope away from the main street. It's about a 15-minute walk to the main attraction and the ski area, which was decent.
Dining

Facilities

The facilities seemed adequate, but nothing stood out as exceptional.
